One day in May 2015, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited a fish farm situated in a faraway mountain village though he was very busy with the state affairs. At the general control room the General Secretary attentively saw its members measuring and controlling in real time the water temperature and oxygen amount of the fish ponds by means of computers and monitoring the physiological conditions of the fish through an underwater camera. Then he said that only when fish farming is put on a scientific and modern basis can the production be normalized at a high level, praising the fish farm for establishing the integrated management system well as intended by the Workers’ Party. After a while, he said that the fish farm should make the most of the existing production capacity and use highly nutritious fodder to produce a large quantity of tasty and hygienically safe fish, and stressed the need to build up its scientific and technical forces and intensify technical study for its employees.
